Live national radio broadcast of Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home
Companion"
- Now in our 36th season, the broadcast is heard by over 4 million
people on 590 public radio stations across the U.S.
- The show is performed live as it broadcast, there are no retakes (many
local stations repeat the broadcast on Sunday-this is the exact same
show without editing)
The ticketed start time is 3:45pm. We will warm-up the audience at
that time for the broadcast starting at exactly 4:00pm.
- Audience should plan to arrive to be in their seats by 3:45pm. There
will be a short break half way through the broadcast, but no real
intermission. We allow people to enter and leave the Arena as needed.
- The show's host is Garrison Keillor. He will be joined by the Guy's
All-Star Shoe Band and the Royal Academy of Radio Actors. Additional
guests will be announced on our website.
